Civil Society Education Coalition (CSEC) is a network of non-state actors championing the right of access to quality education for all in Malawi. CSEC’s current membership is drawn from diverse and independent organisations operating largely on voluntary basis. The categories of member organisations include but not limited to Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Faith Based Organisations (FBOs), research institutes, trade unions, organisations safeguarding and promoting the rights and interests of persons with disabilities, youths, girls, and elderly as well as research institutes and academicians among others. CSEC is fully registered with the Malawi Government under the Trustees Incorporation Act (CAP5:03) as well as with the Non-Governmental Organizations Regulatory Authority. CSEC is also a member of the Council for Non-Governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA).
